Maverick is a stunning ruby Cavalier King Charles Spaniel and a proud European import from long lines of international champions. He carries himself with the elegance and confidence that define true European Cavaliers — compact, athletic, and full of charm.
At 15 lbs, Maverick is the perfect size for the breed standard, with a rich, deep ruby coat that glows in the sunlight and feathering that gives him that unmistakable regal look. He’s DNA clear and CHIC certified through OFA, ensuring strong, healthy genetics for every pairing.
Maverick is a proven stud with multiple successful litters and has the genetic potential to produce all four Cavalier colors — Blenheim, tricolor, ruby, and black & tan. His offspring consistently inherit his vivid color, sound structure, and sweet, people-loving temperament.
Personality-wise, Maverick embodies the true Cavalier spirit — gentle, affectionate, and eager to please. He’s intelligent and quick to learn, making him a joy to have both in the home and in the whelping program. Whether he’s exploring outside or relaxing at our feet, Maverick radiates warmth and confidence that reflect his champion heritage.
A Clear Stud
If your female is a carrier for a disease such as DM, EFS or Dry Eye Curly Coat, then she can potentially pass on a carrier gene. If she carries both genes from her parents then she will always pass on one gene. Aside from being beautiful, that is why Maverick is such a great stud! He, as well as our other studs will never pass on a disease gene to any of their puppies.

Be Educated When Choosing a Stud
There are many wonderful and reputable breeders out there, but it’s important to know what to ask so you can make an informed decision. A few key questions can help you avoid surprises and ensure your puppy comes from healthy, well-bred parents.
Some breeders may say their dogs are “healthy” or have a “clear bill of health.” While that sounds good, it doesn’t necessarily mean the dogs have been genetically tested. True health testing goes beyond a vet exam — it involves DNA and OFA screenings for inherited conditions common in Cavalier King Charles Spaniels.
When speaking with a breeder, ask the following questions:
Has your stud and dam been DNA tested for known Cavalier genetic conditions?
Are both parents clear of the following genetic disorders?
Degenerative Myelopathy (DM)
Dry Eye Curly Coat Syndrome (CC/DE)
Muscular Dystrophy (MD)
Episodic Falling Syndrome (EFS)
Do you have documentation from a reputable testing organization (such as Embark, Animal Genetics, or OFA)?
What certifications or clearances do the parents have (for example, CHIC certification through OFA)?
It’s not enough for a breeder to say their dog is “genetically tested.” Ask to see the actual results — because a test that shows the dog is clear is very different from one that simply confirms testing was done. Responsible breeders are transparent, knowledgeable, and happy to share this information.
